January 20-26 was National School Choice Week and by all accounts it was a great success. A record 40,549 events and activities took place across the country. Over five-hundred cities and counties issued proclamations, in addition to 18 gubernatorial proclamations, a resolution passed by the US Senate, as well as a presidential proclamation. Organizers estimate that 10.8 million people joined in nationwide.
